(Wacky Time)

The Blue Bay Getaway Activity Program is for our adult guests who have a worldly outlook on life, love and what it takes to make a vacation fun. Over the years, the Activities Crew has developed and refined a number of ‘Wacky Time’ games, many unique to Blue Bay Getaway. These poolside games are spontaneous and often a bit naughty by nature, but are designed for all guests to enjoy, either as active, see-and-be-seen participants or as laughing-out-loud spectators to the action. Whether single or married, here on your own or with a group, ‘Wacky Time’ at the Sexy Pool is a not-to-be-missed, prime time experience.

Mr. Blue Bay: In Blue Bay’s own version of the Mr. Universe contest, 4 guys fight for the title of Mr. Blue Bay. Instead of impressing us with ripped abs or bulging biceps, these contestants will have truly formidable tasks to perform: they may be asked to act like their favourite animal, show the audience their sexiest dance moves, fake an orgasm or collect as many bikini tops from girls in the audience as they can. Always entertaining, and way more fun than watching all those big muscle guys.

The Stick Game: Play Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Donkey Blue Bay Getaway style! The game is simple: 3 guys place a stick between their knees and their partners hold toilet tissue rolls between their legs. The clock starts ticking: The first couple that correctly places the stick into the tube, wins. Oh, one more thing: the guys are blindfolded and moaning is the only verbal communication form allowed. The resulting antics are often ingenious and always hilarious.

The Baby Bottle Game: Everybody knows that chugging beer is a pastime that requires skill and practice. Participants in our Baby Bottle Game get a chance to show off their chugging abilities for all to see. The Rules: One member of the team gets on his/her knees while the partner holds a beer-filled baby bottle between his/her knees. The winning team is the one that manages to drink the most beer in 30 seconds. Payback time comes when the partners switch positions for the second half of the contest. (Viewers are cautioned not to try this at home.)

The BLUE BAY GETAWAY Talent Show: It is a well-known fact that the idea for American Idol came to him when Simon saw Blue Bay Getaway’s Talent Show. Contestants have an opportunity to show off their best dancing moves, singing voice or stand-up routine for everybody to judge. Who knows? The next Getaway Idol might be sitting right next to you.

The Safety Pin Game: Some people search for buried treasure, some for eternal youth. Participants in Blue Bay Getaway’s Safety Pin Game search for… you guessed it... Safety Pins. After the BB Crew places 10 safety pins on a blindfolded couple’s bathing suits, all the contestants have to do is find them… with their blindfolds in place...on each other. Maybe not as rewarding as finding lost gold, but a lot more fun!

The Miss Blue Bay Contest: To win the Miss Universe contest, all you have to do is look good, explain how you would achieve world peace and play the harp for the London Philharmonic. The contestant who is the winner of the Miss Blue Bay Contest, on the other hand, has to have real talent: she has to give her best impression of Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally and fake an orgasm, show us the sexiest way to eat a banana and collect as many bathing suit bottoms as she can from the guys in the audience. This is a truly democratic event, and the audience selects the winner.

The Mr. Banana Man Contest: A game of courage, fortitude and stamina, the title of Mr. Banana Man is neither for the weak of heart… nor stomach. This coveted award is presented to the blindfolded contestant who eats the most bananas. That’s it. And, unlike tamer games (example: Ultimate Fighter), there are no rounds and no time limits. Banana Man is a fight to the finish, and the winner takes all. (The audience is cautioned that this should not be tried at home. Contestants have been training at El Embarcadero and Las Margaritas and the wait staff has determined that they are all in prime banana-eating condition for this competition.)

The Blue Bay Getaway Balloon Game: The adult, Blue Bay version of the game we all played as kids. All that competing couples have to do to win is work together to be the first to break four balloons while assuming four different, hilariously entertaining positions.

Blue Bay’s Famous Humper Game: a trademark Blue Bay Cast game, created exclusively for ladies. Using a pump that has been specially engineered, scientifically designed and patented world-wide, the contestants ‘pump it ‘till they pop it’. The winner gains instant fame and recognition and goes home known to all as Blue Bay Getaway’s No.1 Humper.

The Kama Sutra Game: Like all Blue Bay Wacky Time activities, this is an adult game that is both entertaining and educational. Couples competing in this challenge have 30 seconds to demonstrate to the audience everything they learned in Sex Education classes (or wished they learned), and more! For those wishing to participate-- who are truly interested in teaching others --but do not have a partner, the Blue Bay Crew will get one for you. No other resort in Cancun is as dedicated to educating its guests as Blue Bay Getaway!
